Don't you just LOVE her rolls??
Oh, how this is going by WAY TO FAST! My sweet baby girl is 5 MONTHS OLD! She is the sweetest little thang. She is so smiley, loving, patient, calm, fun and full of JOY. She loves to be loved on and passes out smiles left and right. She loves telling you all about what is going on, but also loves to just watch her crazy brother and sister run around her. She has started to sit by herself, not for too long, but can do it. Every time she is somewhat inclined, she tries to pull herself up to a sitting position. She can roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back. She likes sleeping on her side and has recently started putting her left thumb in her mouth and sucking. It is not something she does too often, but sometimes in her crib, I will find her on her side with her thumb in her mouth. We shall see if she will be a finger sucker like her big sister.
This little girl started sleeping through the night around 3 1/2 months and let me just tell how much this has made me a more happy, joyful momma! If you would have asked me how it was going with three in the first 3 months of her life, my response was always, "good, but I am TIRED!!" and oh how I was! I was ever so thankful for her and loved having her here, but not sure how much I was "enjoying" it. It was hard! BUT, now, I can breath a sigh of relief and say I am a JOYFUL momma! I am loving every minute of it. It is definitely easier now that I can sleep through the night again and feel like I will make it through the day. She takes a short nap in the morning, a good 3 hour nap in the afternoon, a catnap in the evening and goes down around 7-7:30pm and wakes up between 630-730am to eat and go back to sleep! However, now that I just wrote that and am going to post it, this will all change! HA! I am just very thankful. She is such a trooper and goes everywhere with us without complaining and even takes naps in her seat. And boy do we go! I try to be good and be home by naps for her and Emersyn to have naps in their bed. She is just such a trooper. Best baby, hands down!
Very into her socks she had on
Sitting by herself
We have yet to start feeding her cereal. I need to figure out how to balance all of that out, and when to fed her and yada yada. Once I finally do it, I will probably realize that it is not going to be a big deal to balance it all and that she is going to love it. The doctor's office also said that since she is exclusively nursing, that it is good to wait to 6 months anyway. I may start this month sometime, but not in too big of a hurry to help her grow up any faster! I know that Ezra and Emersyn are going to love her eating and probably want to help me do it. This is where I will have to let my Type A personality calm down and let them help! Ha!
We just LOVE her and are so thankful for her.
