Here are a couple of pictures of Elynn's newborn photo shoot. My great and talented friend, Natasha, took the pictures. She is the one that did Ezra and Emersyn's pictures, too. She did such an AWESOME job!! I love them. I thought I would post some that she put on her page. She is going to email the rest of them to me soon.
I can't believe she is already 4 WEEKS today!! Where has the time gone??

Girly Rooms!

I am in the midst of doing my little girls rooms (with help from my friend, Ashleigh)!! I had NOTHING for Elynn's room (since we didn't know who she would be) and  in Emersyn's room, I wanted to paint stripes. I still haven't completed Emersyn's room, but I have definitely started. I want to make it GIRLY!! I didn't want to hang anything up in her room until we painted the stripes, so we have painted stripes and now, slowly but surely her room is coming together. Elynn's room is just about complete! I am not doing a whole lot of decorating in her room since I am thinking that I will put Emersyn and Elynn in the same room once they are a little older. However, her room looks super cute and I LOVE IT!!

Ezra's room is totally complete and so BOY! It looks great! I will take pics of his room and post them too. His room has been done for a while since we already had stuff for his BIG BOY room.

Here is a video of Ezra hitting the golf ball and one of Ezra sliding down the hill during the ice/snow day.

Golf

So, Brent has taken Ezra with him to the driving range a few times to hit golf balls and hang out. Ezra really likes it and can actually hit the ball fairly well. We ended up getting him a little driver and a golf glove. Oh man, is the boy in love or what!?! He wants to go all the time and he "practices" hitting the ball in the backyard. Good thing we have a big back yard!! Here are some cute pictures of him hitting it.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! We celebrated with some gifts and heart cookies that the kids could color. Really fun! Ezra got Dr. Evil Porkchop (he has been wanting this for so long) and Emersyn got a Mini Mouse shirt (she loves mini)! Ezra had his Valentine party at school that Emersyn, Elynn and I were able to go to. They read books, made picture frames and passed out Valentine cards. It was a cute party. Brent and I celebrated Valentine's last friday with a DATE NIGHT!! Elynn tagged along and was the perfect little girl. We went to Bin 555 and had wine and tappas. It was SO NICE to go out just US! The ladies from my Mentoring Moms group watched all the kids for FREE so that we could enjoy time with our Hubby's. Such sweet ladies. LOVE THEM and LOVE Mentoring Moms!

Let's Rodeo, San Antonio!

Cutest Cowboy!!

On Sunday, we went to the Rodeo for the day with our good friends, the Garrison's. We had a lot of fun!! It was the perfect day for it. We got to see horses, pig races, dog competitions, a petting zoo, go on a pony ride, have rodeo food and ice cream!! Ezra and Emersyn LOVED it! I was so glad we went. I hung out with Elynn while Brent did pony rides and the petting zoo with the kids. Other than that, Elynn stayed bundled up in the stroller while we got to do everything else. Ezra loved watching the dogs compete. They do this event where sheep dogs have to herd three lambs around cones, through a fence and into a pen all by listening to their master's command. Pretty neat to watch. He had so much fun watching the Potbelly Pigs race. Emersyn loved the petting the horses and the petting zoo. It was a great day!

Snow Day (really ICE day)

He had way too much fun!

 So, we had a Snow day in TEXAS! Well, really for San Antonio, it was an ICE day. Brent and the kids had a really good time playing in the snow. They made snow balls and were throwing them against the door to "hit" me with them. (I was inside the house) After a while, Brent made a cardboard sled and took the kids for a ride. While they were riding on the "sled", Brent saw other neighbors on the next street with the big hill that were sledding down with a real sled! They headed over to join the fun. He sent Ezra down the hill in a plastic bin. He got some video of it. Looked like they were having a really good time. Emersyn didn't last as long as Ezra. She came in crying because she was so cold. When they were all done playing, they came inside to get warm and toasty by the fire. I am Oh SO Thankful for our new house and the fireplace. I'm in LOVE.

Elynn: 1 WEEK OLD

Our sweet Elynn is ALREADY ONE WEEK OLD. It feels like she has been here and apart of our family for a lifetime. God is so good like that. We are so in LOVE with our sweet little girl. Ezra and Emersyn love her too. Emersyn could take her or leave her at times; like, sometimes she is really interested in where she is or what she is doing, then other times she just doesn't care. This probably ends up being a good thing for us. Ezra, on the other hand, is very interested in her and what she and I are doing. He is a great Big Brother, loving to hold her, talk with her and SING to her. OH SO CUTE!
Elynn is such a sweet, sweet baby! We are so IN LOVE!!
