Our Pumpkins!

This year instead of carving pumpkins, I decided to copy my friend, Allison, and do potato head pumpkins. It was the best idea. The kids LOVE them! Thanks, Ali! I just remember last year when we carved a pumpkin and the "fun" of that lasted about 2 minutes! This is so much better!
Ezra's pumpkin is a cowboy. Emersyn's pumpkin is a princess, complete with a crown, heels and and a wand! She asks to go see her pumpkin every day. I have them outside by the front door, and she does not understand that they are for decorations. She wants to play "princess" with her pumpkin and will sit out there moving the pumpkin's arms making it talk. So cute! I still need to find another "girl" one for Elynn.

Trying to get a picture of them together. Elynn saw something she wanted....

And she is off!

Love Creek Orchard

We went to Love Creek Orchard on Monday. This is an original apple orchard, but every year, they have a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is really big with a maze, petting zoo, hayrides, tractor barrel rides, pumpkin paintings, indian dances with a teepee, a story telling/ instrument tapping goodness, and FOOD! The kids just ran and ran. It was a great time. I went with a group of girls from church that I am getting to know more. I love those girls and my kids love their kids.
Here are some pictures that my friend Melissa took. I forgot my camera!!
