Just Cause

I wanted to blog some things Ezra and Emersyn (maybe Elynn too) have been doing so I don't forget.

-Today I was explaining to Ezra how we have First, Middle and Last names. So, I went around the table and said all of our first, middle and last names. Ezra and Brent share middle names, Emersyn and I share middle names and Elynn has my grandma's name for her middle name. When I was done he said, "That is so amazing!"

-The other day a birthday balloon got loose and was stuck in our high ceiling in the living room. Emersyn said, "uh oh. I now who can get it. Mousekatoodle!" She goes and stands on the fireplace, puts her hand to her mouth and shouts, "Oh, Toodles!" Ha!

-Elynn is a week shy of 7 months and is such a happy girl. She NEVER complains and loves to sit and watch what is going on. She has been really into sitting up and trying to grab everything. When she see something that interests her, she will roll to it. She is not crawling, but wants to sit up and then loves when you help her stand up. She wants to be "on the move", so once she figures it out.. she is going to just GO!

-Ezra has really been into coloring lately. He colors in the lines and is pretty good at coloring. He also likes drawing pictures now. For the most part, I still have to ask him what the picture is, but, I love that he is really into it now. He can also write his first and last name. On his last name, I have to spell it for him and he is able to write it! No more copying! Pretty impressive!

-Emersyn can say her ABC's and count past 10. She know all her colors and some of her shapes. She even knows some of her letters.

-Both Ezra and Emersyn can say the whole "Lord's Prayer" and it is SO CUTE when they say it together! They are both master's on the IPad, which is impressive.

-Emersyn LOVES singing and takes it very seriously. She is into wearing only dresses and is obsessed with painting her nails and shoes.

-Ezra loves dancing to Rio. He wants to be a baseball player when he grows up and hit home runs. He can swim all by himself, dive, do cannon balls, and get dive sticks at the bottom of the pool. He can also swim a whole lap by himself with out stopping. He has been told by several swim instructors that he is a really good swimmer and he keep up swimming.

Very thankful for my little blessings and that I am able to be home with them!
