So Behind...Playing Catch Up!

I feel like its been a while since I've blogged. That's because it has been! Ha! i guess that's what happens when 'life' happens AND I have to actually sit down at my computer, upload the pics and write! I am sure there is an app for this now, but I don't know about it.

Anywho...here are some pictures of what we have been up to!

First off..we are have TWO kids in school and ONE in pre-school! Ezra is in 1st grade with Mrs Baker and Emersyn is in Kindergarten with Ms Campell!! They both are loving school and doing so well. Emersyn is growing up way to fast! Kindergarten just does that to you! She is already reading and is a pro in Hebrew! Ezra is getting to big too! He can read and write in Hebrew, his reading is taking off.. and he LOVES Math!

My brother, Shelby, Lincoln and Cambelle came to visit and meet Everly. We had such a great weekend!

Our 1st 'trip' as a family of 6. We went to Horseshoe Bay to our friends lakehouse. It was so nice to get away and just relax. The kids were so happy to be there! Lots of fishing, sun and water.

Elynn started Preschool! She is a Fantastic Frog in Mrs. April's class! Her best friend, Seyla, is in her class also. She LOVES going to school!!

Everly was dedicated by our sweet friends, mentors and Elders of our church, The Means! We are very thankful for Dennis and Cindy!

Everly Ann Eilers

Everly Ann Eilers is HERE! She was born August 4th at 3:57 am. She was a few weeks early, 37 weeks, but oh so healthy! She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long! When we left the hospital, she got down to 6 lbs 7 oz. She came with a FULL head of dark hair and BEAUTIFUL. We are so in love with her. Ezra, Emersyn and Elynn are SMITTEN with her!

Her birth story:

We had just had a full day at the pool of our friends house. That morning, Sunday, I was feeling a little different, but didn't think much of it. I felt good the rest of the day. After putting the kids down to bed, except Elynn (she had woken up while putting her jammies on), I sat down on the couch to rest for a little bit before bed. I had gotten up to let Jager outside, and then went to sit back down on the couch. Right when I sat down, my water broke! I looked at Brent and said, "I am pretty sure my water just broke." He looked at me with shock and then said, "Are you sure you didn't just pee?" HA! I hadn't started having contractions just yet, so I don't think he believed me! Elynn was listening to us talk, and when I had said my water broke, she picked up my water cup and was looking at it intently. She said, "mom, you don't have a crack in your cup. I don't see water leaking." It was so funny. I started laughing, at more water gushed out. I knew it was truly my water that had broke! Brent and I then were talking about who we should call and what the plan should be. In the middle of planning, when we were talking about who to call, Elynn looked at us with a serious face and said, "I think you should call your doctor". We decided to call my stepmom to come spend the night, since it was only 930 at night. She came right away. Brent and I loaded up in his truck, with several towels. When we got to the hospital, there was a ton of construction. The parking lot we were supposed to be in was under construction and so we had to park in a parking garage a far way off from the woman's center. I had to wrap myself up in a towel, and put my pants on over it. I waddled the whole way to the women's center. It was epic!
When we got to the center, they checked me in right way. We still had to sit in Triage for a couple hours before going to the labor room. I was in Labor for a total of 6 hours. Brent slept through most of it. I had to wake him up to get ready for the delivery! Ha! I pushed for under a minute, in 3 pushes. It was nice and easy! Brent went right back to sleep after the delivery (he had a couple of long days). I had to wake him up AGAIN to head to our room upstairs. The nurse and I were giving him a hard time. Love that guy!
The kids came to see us later that morning! They LOVE her. We had to set a timer of when they could hold her, so that everyone had a turn. We are so thankful for her and couldn't imagine our life without her!! When we left the hospital, she weighed 6 lbs 7 oz.

At her 2 week appointment, she weighed 7 lbs 6 oz (21%) and was 21 1/4 inches long (81%). A healthy baby girl!!

First time with all 4 by myself!
