Ezra

Catching up on what my little guy has been up to.

I love this boy so much! I can't get enough of him. He is growing up so much and becoming such a little independent little boy. With his independence, he is learning and so curious about everything. He asks "why" questions CONSTANTLY!! Sometimes, I can't answer his questions or often get tired of answering his questions, so I turn the question around on him and he comes up with the best answers. So smart! He is so sweet with his sisters and plays so well with Emersyn. He loves Elynn and constantly wants to hold her. He is my biggest little helper! He is such a lover and cuddler. I hope that never stops!! I cannot get enough of his sweet hugs.

He goes to preschool three half days a week and LOVES it. It is the best school hands down. The school is through our church, Oakhills, and I could not be more happier with it. He is so full of God's love and Jesus' word, it melts my heart. He is learning bible verses and bible stories. He loves talking about them with me and finding the stories in the bible to read them again. I love it! Some of these pictures are from his school's FIESTA Parade. Every year San Antonio celebrates FIESTA and so the school does Fiesta activities too. So, at the fiesta parade, every one was supposed to make a shoebox float to pull. Ezra, being a LOVER of the Aggies and sports (maybe a little OBSESSED!) wanted to make the Aggie football field. We had a good time doing it.

His Busy Bee Class

Had to put this pic of Emmy girl. She looked SO CUTE in her Fiesta Dress (authentic from Mexico, from aunt ashley). She wouldn't look at me for a picture

Ezra is also taking swim lessons. He is doing so good. He is kinda a nervous nelly with new things, so I wasn't sure how he would do. But, he is loving it. He is so good. I think it helps that we practice what he learned in the bathtub! HA! He is not quite my little fish, but I am so proud of him.

Right before his first lesson

Of course he is the only boy in his class! Always!

Mr. Ryan and Ezra. He can float on his back when Mr. Ryan lets go!

Brent and Ezra's fishing trip

Here are some pictures from Brent and Ezra's fishing trip. They went down to lake Corpus Christi. They stayed at a guys house that Brent's brother, Brian, knew. He has a dock and a boat. They had a really good time. Brent's dad, brother Brian, brother-in-law Daniel and his boys went also. I called every night to check in on them. Ezra and Brent sounded like they were having a blast each time I talked to them. It was so fun talking to Ezra on the phone. I don't ever talk to him on the phone because we are constantly together! He talks so well and is HILARIOUS. The first thing he wanted to tell me, the first time I called, was about how they saw a SNAKE and dropped a rock on it and how the snake must have eaten a fish because his belly was big. I just thought to myself, "great, what was I thinking letting him go."
He came home such a happy fisherman and was OH SO EXCITED to "show" me the fish. When he pulled the fish out, it was already cut up and bagged. He was so proud!
So blessed that Brent loves doing things like this with Ezra.

My sweet GIRLS!

Here are a couple pictures of my sweet girls. Oh how I love them so! Ps.. Ezra went fishing with Brent, and others, Saturday to Monday. So hopefully, I will be able to post pictures of that fun trip.

Em (23 months)

Elynn 2 1/2 months

Not her gummy smile, but, a smile!

Momma Emersyn

Oh my sweet, sweet Emersyn! Love her so much. She is SUCH A CHARACTER and has the funniest, best personality. I just had to post about what she has been up to lately. She has always loved baby dolls, however, since little Elynn has been here, she has become a Mother Hen! I am not going to lie, she is a bit of a baby hoarder! Ha! She has one baby that goes EVERYWHERE, who is colored in blue chalk and only has one pair of clothes that are getting a bit worn out. (I know, you are thinking, buy that girl some clothes for her doll!!) For the most part, she carries around 4-6 babies at a time. She talks to them, shows them things, reads books to them, feeds them, puts them to bed and lets them play. It is HILARIOUS! She is going to be a great mommy!! I had to take pictures of her and her dolls.

Playing with her dolls in the laundry room (i was on the comp. so she came to play by me)

All her babies in her bed

Putting more babies down for a nap

This is her Baby baby in the bouncery

And in the playing in the jungle gym

And, in the swing
When the babies are in the swing, she turns the swing on with the music

Elynn: TWO MONTHS OLD

My sweet baby girl, Elynn, is TWO MONTHS! It goes by OH.SO.FAST! OH how we LOVE her. I CAN NOT imagine what our little family would be without her. She is so sweet. She is probably my calmest baby. I am not going to lie, Ezra and Emersyn were both calm babies, but Elynn just seems to take it all in. I mean, what else can you do when you have two crazies running circles around you. Ha! It's so fun! She loves to give smiles, loves to talk (coo), and just watch what is going on.
We had her 2 month appointment today and she weighed in at a Whoppin' 11 LBS 8 oz (75%)! She was 22 1/2 inches long (50%). She had 3 shots in the leg and one liquid shot. So far, she is taking it well. Sleeping tons. Should make for an interesting night for me.

The ZOO!

We went to the zoo today! The WHOLE family, Me, Brent, Ezra, Emersyn and Elynn! It was GREAT! Brent really wanted to go and I first thought he was CRAZY because it is spring break week here! I know that we don't really "know" or "experience" spring break at this time in our lives, but, being from San Antonio, there are certain things you DON'T do during spring break. 1) go to the zoo, 2) go to Sea world and 3) go to the Wittie! Well, we did! It was not bad at all! I was shocked. I remember going last year with my sister-in-law, her children and my mother-in-law. It was CRAZY. We waited in such a long line to get in, for the bathroom and even to see the animals! This year, NO line for anything. It even at one point felt like a regular day at the zoo. We got there right at 9, when the zoo opened. When we were leaving, the crowds were starting to gather, so we did it right!
The kids LOVED it! We just enjoyed the day and took our time seeing all the animals. It was a cool day and all the animals were out and about. The monkeys were going crazy. Emersyn LOVED it! She kept asking, "mommy, where the monkeys?? " Ezra's favorite was the crocodiles. It was such a great time. I did have to stop and sit on a bench and feed Elynn in front of a spring break crowd. That was special! Ha! We even road the zoo train before we left.
After the zoo we went to one of our favorite mexican restaurants, Tomatillo's, down the street. They have the BEST corn tortillas.  The kids actually SAT in the booth the whole time and ate. It was just such a great time.
To make it even better, we all came home and NAPPED (well, ezra not as much). It was great. I am so thankful for my family!

My girly girl

the dot on her nose is a scrape from the outside toybox

Emersyn has always been a girly girl, but mainly because I have had her in bows from the beginning. Lately, however, she has really turned into a girly girl. She loves shoes, clothes and BABIES. The other night we had a girls night, and the boys were gone! I decided to see if she would let me paint her finger and toenails. She loved it! SO, I went to the store and got her purple polish, because she had been asking for purple. I thought I would post a picture of her purple nails. I am loving the stage she is in right now.
