Snowflake

We have a new member of the Eilers family. It is a sweet little girl BUNNY! Her name is Snowflake. The kids are in love. She is so fun and super sweet. Such an easy pet. Just the way we like it! Thanks, Schoessows!

Emersyn's Preschool Happenings

I realize I am behind on this blog. We have already celebrated Fiesta in San Antonio and at Emersyn's school, but I am just now posting about it.

So, San Antonio has a two week celebration in April called Fiesta. There is even a school holiday for ALL schools in San Antonio called Battle of the Flowers. At Emersyn's school, they have a cute Fiesta party. They start the morning off with a Fiesta parade. Everyone decorates a shoe box and then they pull it around the church in a parade like fashion. Then the rest of the day is filled with great activities like a cake walk, pinata station, making tortillas  face painting, cascarones making..etc. It is such a fun day at school. Here are some pictures..

Another even that recently occurred at Emersyn's school is Museum day. Every student in the preschool as a piece of their artwork framed and displayed in a part of the church and the kids and parents get to walk through the wing looking at all the art work displayed. It is such a cute day! Here is Emersyn with her picture of Texas Bluebonnets! Emersyn LOVES flowers!

T-Ball

We have officially entered the life of extra-curricular activities! Ezra is 5 and playing T-Ball. We have our first game this Saturday. We have practice 2x a week. Luckily, the practice is not even 1 mile from our house. It has been fun, so far! Ezra LOVES it!! I love watching his face light up while playing his favorite sport. I pray its a good experience for all of us!

What a precious Easter we had this year. I love that our kids are getting older and are truly learning the meaning of Easter. I had a lot of fun doing our resurrection eggs with all three of them this year. Ezra truly gets it, Emersyn is so interested and Elynn loved being apart of the action too.

We had several Easter egg hunts, and a couple Easter party gatherings. It started with our neighborhood Easter party and egg hunt. I love our neighborhood. So many people participate in these events and it is fun getting to know more of the people living around us.

Our next party was on Wednesday with Emersyn's class party. It was super cold and windy that day, but the party was still a big hit and the kids had a lot of fun. We had the party at Family Celebrations, so the kids got to play on playhouses and jump on trampolines. There was a big egg hunt, lunch and craft.

We ended up going to church on Friday due to the busy weekend planned. It was such a powerful service. I am so thankful for my savior who loves me so much.

Our next party was in Fredericksburg with Brent's family. They had tons of food, a bounce house and another big egg hunt. I love his family and we always have a great time with them.

Easter morning was so nice. We slept in! Once everyone was up, we headed downstairs to check out Easter  baskets and have our backyard Easter egg hunt. It was so much fun. We were having so much fun outside, we didn't get around to eating breakfast until 10/1030. That afternoon, we had plans to go to my dad's house in Boerne for dinner and another egg hunt.

not the best picture but it was all I got before they tore into it

Needless to say, we have SO MUCH candy. I have already thrown so much away!

My girly girl and her not so girly ways

Emersyn is ALL GIRL! She wears a dress or skirt nearly EVERY DAY. She doesn't like the feel of jeans and hasn't since she has been little so we have tons of dresses for her. She has some accessory to accompany those dresses, like a pearl necklace or tiara  or her dress up shoes. Dressing up is also one of her favorite things to do. Now that Elynn is getting older, Emersyn will tell her, "Elynn, do you want me to teach you how to dress up!?" They have become the best of friends and love dressing up together.

On a different note. Emersyn is our most brave one when it comes to BUGS. She loves them and loves to catch them. She is better at it than Ezra! It makes me smile. I love her girly, critter loving ways. I can't imagine what she is going to be like when she gets older. I am so excited to wait and find out!

Elynn is potty trained!

Hallelujah. Elynn is potty trained. She did it shortly after she turned 2 in January. I didn't want to do it because I thought she was too little and it would take a little bit longer to get the hang of it, but she kept telling me when she needed to go (with a diaper on) and wanted to sit on the toilet, so I gave in. Ezra had an early break in February and we bucked down and did it. She did GREAT! She has had MAYBE 2 accidents since, and they were due to me not really wanting to stop to take her potty. She is such a smart, little independent girl. So now, she only wears diapers at night and sometimes at nap. Hopefully soon we will completely be out of the diaper stage. We haven't had that since we had Ezra!! I can see a light at the end of the tunnel! WAHOO!!

February wrap up

We have been so busy that I am so behind in my blogging. So I am going to just post pics and put some captions underneath for your enjoyment and my time! :)

Ezra's class school trips are once a month trips to the children's Magik Theater. It has been so fun. We have seen a couple plays but our favorite so far has been Cat and The Hat!

We have been making MANY trips to the zoo with friends. The weather has been great and the kids love going to the zoo.

Ezra was brave enough to feed the birds. The girls wanted nothing to do with it.

My precious loves with crazy hair in the bath. This is one of their favorite things for me to do to their hair.

She is getting TOO BIG!!
