My little/BIG TWO Year old!

My sweet, first born little girl, love of my life, turned TWO on Saturday! I just think it is so CRAZY that she is two. I mean it is such a shocker, but then, at the same time, NOT. She is such a Ms. Independent little thing and tries to do EVERYTHING her older brother is doing! She talks in full sentences already, and you can understand almost everything she is trying to tell you. If you can't she will take you to the source itself, or just keep telling you, "NO", until you figure it out. I mean because it's your problem you don't understand her, not hers! She is the sweetest little thing but, in the drop of a dime, can be a PISTOL! I love it. She makes me laugh so hard! She has the best personality and character. Sometimes it is so hard for me to discipline her because I am laughing to hard (and trying to not let her see that I am laughing) to be so serious. She is pretty good at throwing fits too. But then, she can be the best sharer of toys and the best listener. Usually she does what you tell her to do the first time. Unless, it's not what she is feeling at the moment. Ha! Oh, how she can hold her own. Her brother is even scared of her at times. Gotta love it!

The doll house she got from us and my mom. She LOVES it!

Finally took a bite of it!

I pray on a daily basis for wisdom when guiding her and discipling her. It has been a complete difference between her and Ezra. Ezra, you can give him the "look" and he will stop right away and be so sorry. With her, she is like, "is that all you got." Which makes me laugh out loud as I am typing this and having flashbacks of different moments. Oh, how I LOVE HER!
As far as the things she is doing and "knows". She is so smart. She knows all of her colors, some shapes and can count to 5. She knows some letters too, but I think that's because we work on them with Ezra and she is right up in there with him. She would LOVE to be a part of his pre-school busy bee class. Unfortunately, you have to be 3 to be in his pre-school. We have another tortuous year of dropping him off at his class while she has to go back home with me. Somehow, staying home with me is NOT the "it" thing. Maybe I need to spice up our routine a little bit!
Happy Birthday my sweet Emmy girl! You are such a blessing to our family. We love you!

Here are more pictures from her party:

Elynn: 3 Months

My sweet baby baby girl is 3 Months old today!! OH MY GOODNESS! How fast this is going, but at the same time, she seems like she has been in our life this whole time. Not sure what we did with out her. LOVE HER!! I definitely am more tired and am tested every time I go out with all three of them by myself, but LOVE LOVE LOVE every minute of having three. I am so thankful for my sweet baby girl. She is such a blessing and definitely completes our family of 5! She is a very calm, sweet girl. I know that my other two were calm babies, but there is something about the third that is one another level of calm and sweet. Maybe because she hears the mass chaos going on all around her (aka: Ezra and Emersyn) and she just takes it all in. When she is awake, she just looks around, coos and kicks, kicks, kicks. When you start talking to her, she will completely stop, look at you and give you the biggest grin! Melts me every time! She used to make you work for those grins, but lately, will grin up when you smile and talk to her. She is a third baby, very patient, and will wait for me to get the other two settled with whatever they are doing. But, I will tell you this, she does NOT go unloved! I hold this girl ALL THE TIME!! Brent has even said, "You know, you don't have to hold her all the time." I looked at him and said, "Uh, yes I do!" She is so precious to us, and we are so thankful for her!
Love her!! How could you not??

Oh, melt my heart!

My chubby love!

Happy Easter!

I cannot believe that Easter has already come and gone! This year is going by way too fast! In two weeks, Emersyn turns 2! Not sure I am ready for that..
Anyway, we had a great Easter weekend. It was filled to the max, but good. Our Easter truly started on Wednesday at Ezra's pre-school class party. At his pre-school, parents sign up to help throw the parties for each different holiday. Easter is a special holiday and is celebrated off campus at on of the classmates house. This year, our friend Amy Moreland had both her boys Easter party at her house. That makes 22 kids + parents + siblings! ALOT OF PEOPLE! It was good though. She has a really big yard, so the Busy Bee class (Ezra's) hunted their eggs in the front while the older class hunted eggs in the back. It was a rough party for me. I had all three kiddos with me and had to participate in some of the activities. I carried Elynn in the Bjorn the whole party. She slept for most of the party. Emersyn was having a great time playing with all the other kids. It was all going great, UNTIL, Emersyn got knocked in the eye by a kid on a tree swing. It caused her to bleed and gave her an instant black eye!! SO, from then on, she just wanted me to hold her. She wouldn't let anyone else hold her or put ice or a wet cloth on her eye. That made for a fun time carrying BOTH Elynn and Emersyn. Needless to say, we stayed for the egg hunt, craft and to eat then headed out. I am sure it was a great party though. Ezra had a good time!

Emersyn's eye! OUCH!

Supposed to be at an Easter party, but playing with the tools instead

Saturday, we headed to my dad and his wife's house for lunch and an another egg hunt. It was a nice, relaxing day. Since we couldn't come over on Sunday, we were the only one's there and the kids were able to hunt eggs with just the two of them. It was nice. They were really cute with sharing the eggs they found and helping each other out.

Proud of her basket. She looks so big here.

Love this picture

Awe, daddy and his baby girl. So sweet.

Painting the porch with water and paint brushes

Sunday morning we went to church. The 830 service! I am pretty sure that any family that was at church that morning, especially that early, gets an award for being there on time and dressed! It was definitely a feat getting everyone ready and at the church on time. After church, we came home, made some deviled eggs and loaded the car for our trip to Austin. Brent's family all gathered at his brother Bradley's house. We had a late lunch and ANOTHER egg hunt. (3 egg hunts for these Eilers kids) It was great seeing everyone. All of his siblings were there (5) with their families, plus oma & opa, great-grandma lindig, Aunt Joan, Uncle Tom and their two girls. It was a great turn out and a lot of fun. I am truly blessed with my in-laws. Love them all to pieces. All 11 grandchildren get a long so well too. It was truly a good time.

A Tinkerbell one! She would only pick up the princess and Tinkerbell eggs.

I got Cascaroned by my own husband!

Father Brian cracked a cascarones egg on oma and opa which in turn got all over Elynn and Joseph (they are a week apart!)

I am pretty sure we over did it though. When we were packing up to leave, we had melt down city with just getting our pj's on. Needless to say, this week and weekend we are doing NOTHING! But, had a great Easter weekend.

I thought I would put some of the Easter pics we tried to take at the house before we left. Ezra wanted NOTHING to do with it. So in most of the pictures, I am threating him through clenched teeth to smile! HA! and on Easter weekend! Way to go mom!!

This one says it all!!
