Big Brother, Lil Sister

Today

We had such a great morning. Today is Brent's last day off from "paternity leave", so I wanted him to be able to do whatever he wanted. I suggested he go hit some golf balls since he hasn't done that in a while. Well, while he was getting ready to go, Ezra had his clubs out in the backyard and was showing me how well he can hit the balls. Since he was having so much fun, I suggested to Brent that we make a family outing and all go to the driving range. He agreed! So we loaded everyone up, along with ezra's clubs and headed out. We had such a great time. Ezra and brent hit a whole bucket of balls, Emersyn snoozed, and i sat back watching and reading! It was a great morning. Such a pretty day to be outside.

Mothers Day

So, I know mother's day has already come and gone, but i wanted to brag on Brent. He brought my mom and I lunch and flowers to plant in the afternoon, after he got off work. Then, he grilled us up some Kabobs that were DELICIOUS.

Emersyn Dawn Eilers

Emersyn is here!! She arrived at 7:30 am on 5-7-09. She weighed in at 7.1 pounds and was 19 3/4 inches long. The delivery was great and quick.. Praise God! Something cool about Emersyn's birthday is that she was born on National Day of Prayer and her bday numbers: 5,7,9 are an odd number combo that only happens three times in a century! Pretty special little girl. We are all doing great and loving and praising God for our new addition. Family of 4!!

Great Monday!

We had such a fun monday! Our good friends Allison and Suzanne came over with their little girls, Harper and Liana. They played hard outside in our new and improved backyard. They chased each other, shot basketball hoops, and played in the sandbox. Then we all went to chic-fil-a and had lunch. It was a good little monday!
Here is a picture of them hanging out by our new tree table. Brent built the patio deck and benches around it.

Fun weekend

We had a great weekend. My great friend Katy Gates and her family came to stay with us. Her husband, Chip, had a soccer tournament so they got to come down and stay with us. I hadn't seen them since Katy was prego with lil Hayden. Now Hayden, is still little, but 4 months old! It was so much fun. We got to go to one of chip's soccer game and cheer him on! Ezra loved it and was trying to kick the extra soccer ball on the field with them. He was sad he wasn't able to participate. Chip's team won the tournament! Yay, chip!!
Ezra had fun with Hayden around too! Gives me a lil inspiration with this second one coming. He wanted to do everything she was doing. He even wanted to hold her on his lap and feed her her bottle. They took a bath together too. He thought that was so fun!

Update of our Life

Not a whole lot going on these days, but haven't updated my blog in a while so I thought I would.
We have been doing great actually. Had a little scare with this pregnancy which put me in the hospital for three days. I had gone to a regular doctors appointment and my blood pressure and heart rate were pretty eleveated, so they sent me to the hospital to do some testing. I ended up staying for three days. The electrial pumping of my heart or the nerves that control the pumping of my heart are not acting right, but it is not something to worry about at this point, and it is not affecting the baby, so, we will have to do more of a work-up after this little girl decides to come.
On that note, Yes, I am still pregnant. I think my offical due date is around the 13th of May. I am really hoping she comes sooner than that so I can feel better, but God is good and His timing is perfect, so I have peace (and am working on the patience part) in that.

Ezra is 21 months old now! Crazy! Time has gone by soo fast. He is so much fun. He has the best personality and disposition. He loves anything to do with balls: kicking, throwing, hitting, shooting. Loves being outside. He goes to a Mothers Day Out class once a week with some of his friends from church, that he loves! He is talking so much more. He loves running, jumping, wrestling with his dad and chasing Jager. Just so much fun and very active. Always on the go.

Brent is doing great. He has been busy doing projects around the house. We have a great, beautiful garden, we had to cut down our only tree in the back yard cause it was dying, and we had an awning put up. Now we are trying to make a little patio of sorts around the tree, with some benches and an umbrella for the kiddos to enjoy. I will post pictures once i actually take them.
But everything is good. God is good!!

Thank you for all of your prayers! We have really felt your presence through them!

Love ya!
